NORTHOLT’S Haunted House, also known as the Cole family home in Kempton Avenue on the Racecourse Estate, raised. £550 in donations on Hallowe’en.

The money will go to Meadow House Hospice in Southall, who had Amanda, from its staff, in the crowd to witness the fun last Thursday.

Tours of the Coles’ decorated house were supposed to finish at 9pm, but the queue was solid and it stayed open from 5pm until 10, to accommodate the very last guest.

Dancers from SA Dance Academy entertained earlier with their Thriller number, while smoke machines and creative lighting added to the atmosphere.

There were also tarot card readings and an outside broadcast by Radio Harrow.

Lisa Cole, who organised the event with husband Jason, said: “Our very own Michael Jackson came out to entertain and have selfies with everyone while our MP, James Murray, fitted us into his busy schedule.

“Julian, from Ace of Spades Photography, took some great photos we have compiled into a video. Were you captured at The Haunted House?

“We would like to thank everyone who attended and those people who gave up their time at no cost for this great charity. We aim to make it bigger and better each year.”

Plans are advanced for a Christmas grotto at the Coles’ house, where children can book to see Santa.

And there’s already a date for the diary in 2025: bank holiday Monday, May 26, for Music Mayhem.
