AN Ealing school has opened its doors to 14 talented Ukrainian students, who will be joining for two weeks as part of the Future Leaders Exchange Programme.
FLEX is run by UKUATogether, a charity fostering secure, economic and growth-orientated connections between the UK and Ukraine.
It is part of its current work to help rebuild Ukraine through nurturing its future leaders.
During their time at Notting Hill & Ealing High School, the students will have lessons and workshops across subjects including enterprise and economics, psychology, geography, Mandarin, robotics and science, as well as art and music.
They will also gain an insight into the aviation industry with UKUAT partner Wizz Air, meet with organisations such as Google and UCL and visit Lord’s Cricket Ground, the Tower of London and Parliament.
NHEHS sixth-formers are looking forward to helping their guests immerse themselves in school life.
Students are being hosted by Notting Hill & Ealing families during their visit.
Matthew Shoults, head of NHEHS, commented: “We have a strong record of partnership work and are proud to be extending this to the Ukrainian leaders of the future.”
