EALING Broadway shopping centre is calling on customers to help spread festive cheer this Christmas.
The centre has teamed up with Age UK Ealing and Ealing Library to launch a Merry Mailbox initiative.
It involves the charity collecting heartfelt cards and distributing them to older members of the community over Christmas.
Ealing Broadway is asking visitors to collect a card free of charge from the specially-installed Merry Mailbox, to write their warm wishes and post it in the box located in Ealing Library.
Andrew Rollings, centre director, said: “While Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year for many of us, sadly, for some in our community, it can feel isolating.
“It’s our visitors who make Christmas so special for us her, so we know we can count on them to spread some festive cheers for those who need it most.”
Cards can be posted into the box from now until Monday, December 16, when they will be distributed via Age UK Ealing.
