MERRICK Place housing development in Southall has reached an important milestone.
Representatives from Vistry Group, Ealing Council, Sovereign Network Group and Grainger gathered to celebrate the topping out of the £157m project.
Led by Vistry as main contractor, it will bring 575 homes and commercial spaces to a burgeoning area next to Southall railway station.
On completion, the development will consist of four buildings and include 926 cycle parking spaces.
SNG’s London New Homes Programme is designed to address the capital’s housing demand through affordable and sustainable housing.
Merrick Place also includes a substantial build-to-rent sector, with residential landlord Grainger forward-funding the construction of 401 rental homes across three blocks.
