ABOUT 100 people were moved out of their homes in ealing when fire broke out in the early hours today (Friday).
Two schools have been closed for the day - Little Ealing Primary School and Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Primary School.
The blaze started at 1am at Kassco Food and Wine at 142 South Ealing Road.
The evacuation was ordered when an acetylene gas cylinder was found at the rear of the property.
A 200 metre cordon was set up, and residents who could not go to stay with family and friends were taken to Ealing Town Hall.
They have been provided with blankets and food, and a GP and district nurse are in attendance.
Roads have been closed and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Buses servcies are being diverted, including routes 65, E3, and N11.
