Harlequins need to make the most of being back on home soil as they prepare to welcome Northampton Saints to the Stoop this weekend.
Head of rugby Paul Gustard has called on the team to step up after three successive away games, as they look to keep up their push for a Gallagher Premiership semi-final place.
Quins have lost three in a row in the league, including last Friday’s defeat at Sale Sharks, and now have just a five-point buffer over fifth spot.
A win over Saints would give Quins a great chance to consolidate that top four place, and Gustard knows they cannot afford to slip up.
He said: “We’ve got a fantastic contest in store for us against Northampton and, as a group, we’re really looking forward to getting back in front of a full house at The Stoop after three consecutive away matches. It’s a massive game and we implore our fans to be our 16th man this weekend.
“We’re in a great position in the league and we’ve worked exceptionally hard all week to make sure we give a consistent and disciplined performance.
“Our destiny is in our hands and I’m confident that the team will rise to the challenge on Saturday.”
Sam Hidalgo-Clyne is set to make his full Harlequins debut as he comes in for the injured Danny Care at scrum-half, while Marcus Smith replaces Demetri Catrakilis at ten.
Scotland international Hidalgo-Clyne signed on a short-term loan deal, and his experience could be crucial against a Saints team with Cobus Reinach at nine.
