RUNNERS and their supporters are counting down to the Ealing Half Marathon, which is due to take place on Sunday, September 29, from 9am.

The race starts in Culmington Road and finishes in Walpole Park, Ealing. Runners pass through Central Ealing, Montpelier, Pitshanger and Hanwell.

Numerous roads will be closed to traffic from early morning and a full list is available on https://www.ealinghalfmarathon.com/resident-information/.

You can download the race guide here.

There will be bands, DJs and performers positioned throughout the course, ready to encourage runners and create an unrivalled atmosphere.

The Race Village in Walpole Park is a great place to  spectate, but other good areas are in Uxbridge Road, Pitshanger Lane, Drayton Bridge Road
and Cuckoo Avenue

The Ealing Mini Mile will take place the day before in Walpole Park  for more than 2,000 children.

So, whether you are running or watching there’s a delicious snack or meal just waiting to be eaten before or after the race.

If you want to be part of the day without running, the organisers still need volunteers along the route.

You can register to help at www.ealinghalfmarathon.com/volunteer/ You’ll get a FREE entry for 2025 as a thank-you.
