A LEON Knight double proved to be Brentford's undoing as their unbeaten start to the season ended on Tuesday night.
The former Chelsea trainee struck two deadly blows to hand Swansea a 2-0 win in an end-to-end thriller at Griffin Park.
First Knight drilled a low drive inside the far post from 18 yards to give the Welsh side a lead on 37 minutes.
The diminutive stiker then cut inside to fire into the top corner to double his tally soon after the break.
The visitors could have been further ahead, with Adebayo Akinfenwa and Leon Britton both hitting the woodwork.
The Bees started on-loan Reading youngster Simon Cox on Tuesday night for his debut.
The 19-year old signed a month-long loan deal in the week and lined up in the Bees midfield for the Swansea clash.
The result meant Brentford dropped to sixth place in the League One table, six points behind league leaders Nottingham Forest.
Leroy Rosenior's side are back in league action this Saturday when they play host to Bournemouth before they entertain Championship Luton in the second round of the Carling Cup on Tuesday.
