GRAHAM Goodden has been named as Brentford FC’s Community Captain for his work during 19 years with the club’s Community Sports Trust.
He received the award as part of the Premier League’s More Than A Game Campaign, which highlights community programmes and how they positively impact millions of lives.
In his role at as senior manager for communities engagement at the trust, he oversees a string of schemes, including the Twinning Project and Street Sports.
Having grown up in the area as a Brentford fan, he is driven to support the community during times of need, such as his instrumental role in delivering Christmas hampers to disadvantaged families.
He is now working on the launch of new Playzones in Ealing and Hounslow.
Graham said: "While I have been nominated for this accolade, it is the work of the wider team past and present and project partners that make everything possible.”
